Abstract
Küresel anlamda büyük bir sorun oluşturan COVID-19 salgınında hayatın her aşaması durma noktasına gelmiş; birçok alanda tıkanmalar oluşmuştur. Günlük hayatın ve sosyal etkileşimin azaldığı bir ortamda akademik camiada da duraksamalar vuku bulmuş, sağlık bilimleri ile ilgili alanlar dışında akademik faaliyetler neredeyse durma noktasına gelmiştir. Böyle bir ortamda Uluslararası Türkçe Edebiyat Kültür Eğitim Derneği Genel Başkanı Prof. Dr. Cengiz ALYILMAZ’ın isteği, önerileri ve destekleriyle BUGU Dil ve Eğitim Dergisinin kurulması ve yayın hayatına başlaması için çalışmalara başlanmıştır. Gerekli altyapı oluşturulup hazırlıklar yapılıp gerekli izinler alındıktan sonra 29.04.2020 tarihinde yayın hayatına başlayan BUGU Dil ve Eğitim Dergisi 15.06.2020 tarihinde ilk sayısı ile okuyucularla buluşmuştur. Bu çalışmada BUGU Dil ve Eğitim Dergisinin kuruluş aşamaları, emeği geçenler ile yayın hayatı ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele alınacaktır.

Özet
Every stage of life has come to a standstill in the COVID-19 epidemic, which creates a major global problem; there were blockages in many areas. In an environment where daily life and social interaction have decreased, pauses have also occurred in the academic community, and academic activities have almost come to a standstill, except for the fields related to health sciences. In such an environment, Prof. Dr. Cengiz ALYILMAZ President of the International Turkish Literature Culture Education Association with the request, suggestions, and support of studies has started the establishment and publication of the BUGU Journal of Language and Education. BUGU Journal of Language and Education, which started its publication life on 29.04.2020 after the necessary infrastructure, preparations were made and the necessary permissions were obtained, met the readers with its first issue on 15.06.2020. In this study, the stages encountered in the establishment of the BUGU Journal of Language and Education, those who contributed, and its publication life will be discussed in detail.
